Glenn J. Klein
President and CFO
Glenn Klein is President and Chief Financial Officer and one of the 10 founding partners of Genesis10. He has over 24 years of finance, operations, budgeting and resource management experience serving industries that include financial services, IT, professional services, manufacturing and consumer retail. Within Genesis10, Klein provides the vision for and the direction on all financial and operational disciplines. Prior to joining Genesis10, Glenn was Chief Financial Officer for Triad Data, Inc., New York. Under his direction, the organization achieved significant improvement in profitability through best practices controls in billing and operations. Glenn led the due diligence efforts when Triad Data merged with Renaissance Worldwide. He has served in senior financial and operations roles for rapidly growing companies, including Corporate Controller for Renaissance Worldwide, Vice President of Finance for Scudder Stevens and Clark and Finance Director for Salomon Brothers. In these roles, he was responsible for enterprise financial and accounting oversight, enterprise software integrations, human resources and business operations. Glenn is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also an active volunteer in his local community.
Tammy Alvarez 
Chief Operating Officer
Tammy Alvarez is the chief operating officer of Genesis10. Alvarez works closely with the firm's branch and service line leaders aligning leading practices with industry trends to provide the best service and solutions for clients.
Alvarez offers unmatched experience and skill leading complex client situations as COO. Her ability to think ahead and respond quickly with the right solution helps Genesis10 clients as they develop and evolve their own business.
Prior to joining Genesis10, Alvarez served as a Business Operations Executive at Bank of America, where she was accountable for driving operational excellence for a variety of different business divisions. Her responsibilities focused on leading strategy and business transformation, organizational effectiveness, resource and location strategies, budgeting and finance, and governance and regulatory reporting.
Prior to her work with Bank of America, Alvarez spent 15 years in the IT staffing, solutions and product industries, most recently as a Managing Director for Compuware Corporation.
Alvarez is based in the firm’s Charlotte, NC, office. In Charlotte, Alvarez is an active mentor for women in business, she has been involved with Charlotte LEAD for women and has served as the NY chapter president for Women in Technology. She is also a Six Sigma Greenbelt.
Walter Taylor
Executive Vice President - Strategy
Walter Taylor is Executive Vice President – Strategy of Genesis10. With 30 years of technology and operations experience, he is responsible for the firm’s overall strategy, which includes uniquely positioning Genesis10 as a hybrid service provider between traditional staffing and consulting.
Prior to joining Genesis10, Walter was Chief Operating Officer of Pariter Solutions. In this role, he was responsible for program management, technology infrastructure strategy and execution and corporate finance in the development of an integrated ACH Payments Processing system.
Walter previously served as Global Technology & Operations Sourcing Executive for supply chain management at Bank of America. His responsibilities included allocating approximately $4 billion in supplier spend and the sourcing and management of all suppliers providing information technology, telecommunications, transportation, consulting, off-shoring and IT staff augmentation solutions to the company.
Before joining Bank of America, Walter was Managing Director – Finance & Supply Chain Technology and Profit Improvement at Delta Air Lines. Walter was responsible for the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and management using SAP technology to provide finance and supply chain capabilities. He also oversaw a $3 billion cost reduction and revenue enhancement program to begin the process of returning Delta to profitability. While at Delta, Walter was also the Maintenance Divisions CIO and served on the Delta Technology leadership team.
Walter served eight years in the U.S. Air Force where he was an officer and pilot. He is a veteran of Desert Storm.
Walter is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in Physical Geography and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Walter also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Mercer University, Atlanta.
