Genesis10’s Dev10 Software Developer Training is coming to Kansas City in 2021—and is hiring now.
That’s the word from Genesis10’s Angelia Brekke, Managing Director, and Tara Wyborny, Director of Junior Talent Programs, both appearing on the news show, We’re Hiring.
During the segment, “Jobs at Genesis 10 Could Jump-Start New Career,” anchor Lindsey Shively tried her hand at the aptitude test required for Dev10, receiving a little encouragement from Wyborny.
After the aptitude test and interview, selected applicants go through three months of paid training to become junior software developers, when Dev10 graduates will make $50,000 a year with Genesis10 and expected to earn up to $60,000 by the end of their first year.
“The opportunity we have with Dev10 to address the tech talent shortage does so in a way that pulls more diverse people into the world of IT and really enables them to take advantage of this highly lucrative opportunity,” said Brekke, of the software developer training program.
