NC TECH launched the NEXT TECH Awards to showcase and celebrate North Carolina’s rising tech stars. The awards honor a selection of individuals who are critical and exceptional performers helping to grow North Carolina’s tech and tech-enabled companies and organizations, but who — not being a c-suite executive — don’t often get recognized publicly. The awards honor contributors who go the extra mile, build products, grow revenue, support operations, and manage projects that propel businesses forward.

Mark Parisi’s dedication, creativity, and exceptional work ethic are invaluable to Genesis10,” said Glenn Klein, President and CFO at Genesis10. “His innovative ideas and attention to detail greatly contribute to our success, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike. Mark's professionalism and positive attitude make him a pleasure to work with. He truly embodies excellence in everything he does.”

At Genesis10, Parisi is instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity. He is leading the expansion of Genesis10’s flexible workforce solutions offering, an alternative model to providing staffing onsite or offshore, as well as partnerships that have brought multiple new Fortune 100 clients to Genesis10. He has directly contributed to creating successful career opportunities for more than 100 consultants.

A passionate advocate of Autism awareness, Parisi actively supports Autism Speaks in Charlotte, NC. He’s involved in civic organizations, such as the Charlotte Italian American Organization and the Salem Springs Community Home Owners Association, and volunteers as assistant coach with the Cornelius, NC NFL-Flag Youth Football League.

Profiled in the article, “Genesis10 Serves as Inspiration for Creating a Better Future,” Parisi also contributes to the Staffing Industry Analysts blog, Staffing Stream. A recent article is “Diversity in Staffing: Leaders as Multicultural as the Workforce Makes a Difference.” He contributes to the Genesis10 blog writing on such topics as neurodiversity in the workplace.

Parisi, was named one of 30 individuals selected to be part of the 2024 class of NEXT TECH Award winners. Winners will be celebrated during the NEXT TECH Awards Celebration on May 22 at the Durham Convention Center and profiled in the June issue of Business North Carolina

Michelle Calton, Vice President, Strategy + Development, reports that NC TECH “had a tremendous response in nominations – the pool of nominees was impressive, and the selection process was competitive.”
