New Metric Measures Progress on Gender, Diversity and Inclusion

Like you, I'm always learning and I'm very excited to share great things that our clients value, especially in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The climate today is about progression, pushing forward in DE&I initiatives to ensure that DE&I goals are pursued and met. Accountability for meeting and exceeding these goals is what organizations are expecting from their employees, suppliers and ecosystem partners.

Gender_and_Diversity_KPI_Alliance_LogoRecentlyGenesis10 became a Corporate Sponsor of the Gender & Diversity KPI Alliance (GDKA) and signed the KPI Position Statement becoming a member of the Alliance. The Gender & Diversity KPI Alliance is a group that supports the use of a common set of key performance indicators to accelerate diversity in corporations.

As explained on their website – www.gdka.org:

As a member of the Alliance, Genesis10 commits to internal reporting on these three KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), along with more than 125 other organizations. This first step in transparency at the enterprise level should help drive change for all.

The number of organizations joining the Alliance and agreeing with the KPIs for measurement is growing and includes clients from public and private sectors, including banking, transportation, automotive and consumer brands.  Take a look at the current Corporate Supporter list here.

Using GDKA KPIs to measure progress toward DE&I goals is one way to track your organization’s record on diversity, equity and inclusion. There are others. What is your organization doing?
