COVID-19 highlighted the vulnerability of every company and country. Together as we move forward from unprecedented times to a brighter future, Genesis10 is working with our clients to rethink, strengthen, and enhance enterprise resilience and risk planning by:
A leading facilities services and management company was at risk of losing a major contract with a global Fortune 50 online retailer because they could not scale their workforce to maintain the buildings and the equipment integral to the Retailer’s Operations. Then, COVID-19 hit.
The Facilities Management partner needed to hire 1,000 Maintenance Technicians to support the online retailer’s growth plans. The offshore firm used to vet the Technicians was in a lockdown, highlighting a process breakdown and dependency.
HOW WE HELPED:
Genesis10 mobilized a team and outlined a structured, repeatable approach to proctor exams to fully vet each candidate while adhering to social distancing guidelines. We standardized the vetting process to maintain candidate consistency, given that we needed to hire 1,000 Maintenance Technicians.
Genesis10 sourced and vetted 3x the number of qualified candidates for the Facilities Management Company, moving our client from RED status to Green in the eyes of the Online Retailer.
A global Fortune 25 online professional networking service was experiencing a spike in fraudulent activity during the height of the pandemic. To combat the spike in fraud, our client scaled their Fraud Investigators to increase the overall due diligence and content monitoring of the site.
With the rise of online job boards, the gig economy, and professional networking sites, it has become easier to conduct job searches online as well as to promote content. Unfortunately with the ease of online networking comes perils of fraud – many different types of fraud.
HOW WE HELPED:
Acting with a sense of urgency given the business challenge, Genesis10’s dedicated account team worked in collaboration with the client to gain business insight to identify the requisite competencies needed to be an effective Fraud Investigator, going well beyond a position description.
In 14 days, Genesis10 sourced and vetted 60 qualified investigators to elevate due diligence, monitoring, and ensuring the legitimacy of content and professionals represented on the site.
In March 2020, Genesis10 swiftly transitioned to work-from-home without skipping a beat. Harley and I are proud of our team - from our consultants to our shared services and management team - who ensure that our clients and our day to day operations were not impacted. Like most companies, we had to make adjustments, but thankfully our operations were already supported by cloud-based systems so we could shift our attention to our PEOPLE. We have increased our consulting care and client touchpoints as well as mobilized a team of our Dev10 Associates who are junior developers in training to develop a contact tracing app to support our operations.
Our top priority continues to be focused on creating a sense of stability in uncertain times, starting with managing the well-being of our clients, consultants, and our employees. When we return to the office, we will do so following CDC and State guidelines. I do believe that we all have to continue to do our part to slow the spread of the coronavirus to create a safer world.
