As a wave of baby boomer retirement looms on the near horizon, more companies are recognizing a serious need to develop technology talent to fill the coming gap.

Yet, with shrinking or non-existent training budgets, they can’t just hire college grads with zero experience and a steep learning curve ahead. They need junior hires who have gone through accelerated training and who can contribute immediately to business and technology initiatives.

That’s why companies look to Genesis10 and the G10 Associates Program. This innovative program mentors and develops the brightest recent graduates turning them into G10 Associates who are business and technology consulting professionals in extended assignments.

We scout, train and coach technology talent to play for your team.

Genesis10 recruits the top 10% of their class for business and technology project roles. These recruits attend a 2-week Project Delivery Training Academy—facilitated and funded by Genesis10—where they receive customized on-boarding specific to a particular client and assignment.

Following training and on-boarding, these consultants are placed on 12-24 month assignments at associate level bill rates. While they’re working for you, they’ll also receive continued training and mentoring from us—at our expense.

Built in to the agreement is your right to hire and incentives for the associate consultant to convert to fulltime employment following the completion of the engagement.

Cost Savings — With junior talent on board, you can ensure that expensive, senior-level people are used only in roles aligned to their greater experience. The optimum blend of people at various pay scales will help reduce overall project costs.

Risk Reduction — Genesis10 assumes all the risk by investing in recruiting, training and mentoring, while you can “try before you buy” and know exactly who you’re hiring.

Flexibility — Although you have the option to hire the associate consultant at the end of the designated contract, you don’t have to. Bill rates are flexible, too, and can vary by volume, length of commitment and contract type.

Quality — Of the thousands of applicants from around the nation, we phone screen about 10 percent. Less than half of these make it to on-campus interviews, and one-third is then invited to the office for group interviews. By the time we hire a candidate, they’ve spent over 12 hours with senior G10 Associates Program leadership. Ultimately, we extend associate consultant offers to less than 2 percent of total applicants.
