Harley Lippman
Chief Executive Officer

Harley Lippman is Chief Executive Officer of Genesis10, one of the largest and fastest growing business and technology consulting firms in the United States. In just 12 years, the unique business model and organic growth of Genesis10 have driven revenues from start up to $220 million annual revenue in 2011 with over 3,000 employees/consultants in 18 markets. Under Harley’s direction, Genesis10 has developed strategic partnerships for consulting and full-time placement services with Fortune 100 organizations nationwide.  In 2007, Fortune Small Business magazine recognized Genesis10 as “Best in Class” for customer service in the technology staffing industry.

Prior to founding Genesis10, Harley was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Triad Data, Inc., an information technology consulting firm, from 1986 to 1998. Triad Data consisted of eight offices nationwide, with approximately 1,000 employees, and was ranked by SC Johnson, Citibank, and Sprint as having outperformed every other vendor. Harley merged the company with a larger publicly held company in 1998.

Harley’s honors and appointments include:

Harley graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stony Brook University. He was awarded a Masters of Arts degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in 1979, graduating third in his class. As a Fulbright scholar, Harley was the first undergraduate American exchange student to study political science in a communist country since World War II.

An active philanthropist, Harley pledges 10 percent of his own earnings to charity, supporting diverse organizations that include: Feed the Children, Engine Company 22 Family Fund, Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Fragile X Research Foundation and the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Harley has become increasingly involved with organizations that support U.S. military veterans with the services, training and tools necessary for both personal and professional success. Recently, Harley launched an initiative at Genesis10 that mentors and trains veterans in a variety of growing and in-demand civilian fields. Harley also entirely funds an orphanage of between 40–45 children in Cambodia. Each year, he and his family volunteer their own time in the orphanage, teaching the children practical skills and basic English.

 

Glenn J. Klein
President, Chief Financial Officer

Glenn Klein is President and Chief Financial Officer and one of the 10 founding partners of Genesis10. He has over 24 years of finance, operations, budgeting and resource management experience serving industries that include financial services, IT, professional services, manufacturing and consumer retail. Within Genesis10, Klein provides the vision for and the direction on all financial and operational disciplines.

Prior to joining Genesis10, Glenn was Chief Financial Officer for Triad Data, Inc., New York. Under his direction, the organization achieved significant improvement in profitability through best practices controls in billing and operations. Glenn led the due diligence efforts when Triad Data merged with Renaissance Worldwide. He has served in senior financial and operations roles for rapidly growing companies, including Corporate Controller for Renaissance Worldwide, Vice President of Finance for Scudder Stevens and Clark and Finance Director for Salomon Brothers. In these roles, he was responsible for enterprise financial and accounting oversight, enterprise software integrations, human resources and business operations.

Glenn is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also an active volunteer in his local community.

 

Walter Taylor
Executive Vice President - Strategy

Walter Taylor is Executive Vice President – Strategy of Genesis10.  With 30 years of technology and operations experience, he is responsible for the firm’s overall strategy, which includes uniquely positioning Genesis10 as a hybrid service provider between traditional staffing and consulting.

Prior to joining Genesis10, Walter was Chief Operating Officer of Pariter Solutions. In this role, he was responsible for program management, technology infrastructure strategy and execution and corporate finance in the development of an integrated ACH Payments Processing system.

Walter previously served as Global Technology & Operations Sourcing Executive for supply chain management at Bank of America. His responsibilities included allocating approximately $4 billion in supplier spend and the sourcing and management of all suppliers providing information technology, telecommunications, transportation, consulting, off-shoring and IT staff augmentation solutions to the company. 

Before joining Bank of America, Walter was Managing Director – Finance & Supply Chain Technology and Profit Improvement at Delta Air Lines.  Walter was responsible for the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and management using SAP technology to provide finance and supply chain capabilities. He also oversaw a $3 billion cost reduction and revenue enhancement program to begin the process of returning Delta to profitability. While at Delta, Walter was also the Maintenance Divisions CIO and served on the Delta Technology leadership team.

Prior to his time at Delta, Walter was a senior information technology project management consultant for EDS Corporation and an information technology project manager at TSYS. 

Walter served eight years in the U. S. Air Force where he was an officer and pilot. He is a veteran of Desert Storm.

Walter is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in Physical Geography and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Walter also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Mercer University, Atlanta.

Michael Rapken
Chief Operating Officer

Michael Rapken brings 27 years of strategic business and technology experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer of Genesis10. Michael’s background and skills play a key role in the operational efficiency and ongoing growth of the company’s portfolio of services.

Prior to joining Genesis10, Michael served as Principal and Executive Vice President for SIBRIDGE, Ltd., an integrated business and technology management consultancy based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Prior to that, Michael was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of YRC Worldwide, Inc., headquartered in Overland Park, Kan. YRC Worldwide is one of the world’s largest transportation service providers. Michael also worked for Sprint for 17 years, holding roles with increasing responsibility culminating in his role as Sprint’s Vice President of application development. He also gained experience in roles at GE, AGS group and Dresser Industries.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Illinois State University.


Angie Brekke
Vice President

Angie Brekke brings more than 22 years of experience ― including previous experience with Genesis10 ― to her role of Vice President at Genesis10. In this position, Angie focuses on change management and service line integration. She works closely with the sales team to help Genesis10 expand and diversify our portfolio of services beyond the traditional staffing model to meet our clients' growing needs. She is also leading our sales team in providing the highest levels of account services to our clients.

Angie previously served as a senior vice president, consulting, at ValueWise Corporation, a privately held management consulting firm specializing in health care. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of the consulting division, including sales, recruiting and engagement management. Prior to this, she served as director of business development in the New York office of Genesis10. She also gained experience in senior management roles at iBusiness Solutions and Analysts International, both in Minneapolis.

Angie serves as a board member of the Minnesota High Tech Association, which supports the growth and sustainability of the large technology-based portion of Minnesota 's economy. She has a degree in international business and computer science from Minnesota State University.

 

Jeanine Rickson
Chief Talent Officer

Jeanine Rickson is Chief Talent Officer and a founding partner of the Minnesota office of Genesis10 where she and her team have crafted and executed the Genesis10 proactive recruiting model that consistently sources high-performing candidates based on customized profiles. The Genesis10 model saves clients significant time and energy and delivers fully on-boarded contractors poised to deliver results.

Jeanine’s leadership in corporate staffing has established Genesis10 as a thought leader in talent pool management. She and her national talent acquisition team cultivate and nurture relationships to optimize both client and consultant success. Jeanine has extensive corporate, client and consulting experience in the areas of change management, human resources and operations management.

Jeanine frequently serves as an industry subject matter expert and speaker regarding interview etiquette, resume development and career coaching. Her prior experience includes recruiting and resource allocation for Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young, and operations management, plant management and human resources for Deluxe Corp. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, a member of Project Management Institute and an active volunteer in local community theater.
